Musk is so greedy and corrupted that I hope it will be his demise. In the end, he wasn’t joking when he said he would be arrested if Harris was elected: at the bare minimum for market manipulation and fraud for Tesla.

Musk will likely die from a drug OD, similar to what happened to Michael Jackson--free and unrestricted use of prescription drugs seems to be a plague of some of the very wealthy.

Nathalie Suteau's avatar

I don’t think so. I think the ketamine story is BS. He’s a functional hypochondriac so the type of pets living a very long life. The abuse of ketamine would trigger bladder issues to the point he wouldn’t be able to on stage which is nowhere near the case.

As far as we know, Jackson's OD and death were entirely unexpected and accidental, which is what I'm predicting for Musk. I can't see any other explanation for Musk's seemingly uncontrolled head lolling and eyes rolling to the back of his head other than his use of heavy-duty drugs.

ps - Musk probably thinks his $$ will save him. Didn't work for M Jackson either.

Katy Bolger's avatar

Michael Jackson's money didn't save him because he hired a cut rate doctor to administer his sleep juice. Had he had a better doctor with ethics, he might be alive.

Musk is a manipulator and a very good actor. Listen to him under Adrian Dittmann. It’s him. MJ was in excruciating pain since the Pepsi incident. He was extremely sick and it was visible.

Actually I think Musk is a terrible actor. We just have people in this country who are easily fooled and so fascinated by bright objects and the allure of money that they assume anyone so "rich" MUST be smart.

Nathalie Suteau's avatar

I think he was a brilliant actor and betrayed himself under Dittmann. He even called me during 1h20 in March to call me woke and bothering his online friends.

VALERIE MELUSKEY's avatar

...yes, easily fooled for sure (or we would not have Trump enjoying so much power). But, for anyone to suggest that Musk is not unusually brilliant bespeaks ignorance from the speaker.

Muskrat, the smartest man in the world. Only thing he was smart at was pulling off the biggest ponzi scheme in history. He needs to be shut down like his grok.

Thank you for this reporting. One phrase is erroneous: the US Department of Defense is not the "Department of War". It was named after WWII by law passed by Congress and signed by the president. and that law has not been changed.

It is without a doubt that Musk is MOST LIKELY a spy for the Russians and God knows what other country. There Are, after all-double spies out there! All while building his “ colossal “ Ai “empire “ right under our noses with the most corrupt administration ever created in the history of the United States which gave him How Many BILLIONS of GRANT MONEY …. AFTER…. He Left the WH and DOGE??? There’s something to investigate too. Hell, I bet you can spend a lifetime just investigating him and all his corrupt activities alone!

Amazing reporting as per usual!

It is truly a miracle that we haven't destroyed ourselves and tha planet. Yet.

Hmmm it really depends whether these transformers are air-gapped or not. If these are bog-standard basic transformers consisting of nothing more than a pot, some laminations, oil, and a bunch of wire, there is little to disrupt.

On the other hand, if these are designed to do more than just step down voltage, then at least a review is warranted. For example, they could feature DAQ circuits to control fans for cooling. That in turn could be an in - ie install a M2M cell module or like communication device. Disrupt the cooling, disrupt the data center.

As far as a spying platform is concerned, any semi-competent operator would have all of these systems air gapped, isolated even from each other, etc to maintain network security.

Yes - the author is apparently aware that a) there are concerns about using Chinese-made transformers in the electrical-supply infrastructure, and b) some of the work at the Colossus facility will have national security implications, and has concluded that, ipso facto, there is a threat to national security from the fact that the facility will be using Chinese-made transformers.

You are certainly right that if these were just traditional transformers, there would be no concern, but, reading between the lines, it seems that these devices come with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) hardware and software, potentially with hidden capabilities. The risk this could present when the equipment is part of the electrical-supply infrastructure is at least twofold: firstly, backdoored SCADA equipment could be used to disrupt the operation of the electrical grid, potentially shutting it down or causing severe damage, with knock-on effects in other sectors dependent on the grid; secondly, they could serve as trojan horses, allowing an attacker an entry-point for gaining further access to the organizations operating this equipment, and potentially through that organization to others that it has interfaces with.

With the former, an attacker could potentially shut down and even do STUXNET-like damage to the Colossus facility, which would be disruptive and expensive, but not necessarily much of a threat to national security. With the latter, however, consequences for national security are more plausible.

As you point out, the facility could, and should, take internal security measures adequate for thwarting such attacks, but the question here is whether it will. The low assessments mentioned in the article, together with the irresponsible attitude towards data security exhibited by DOGE, suggest that its performance in this matter will fall short.

10,000 KVA transformers are unlikely to be just wire, oil and an enclosure. Modern industrial control and high power equipment is becoming more interconnected every day. The possibility of building a system that is cyber secure is becoming harder. The referenced transformer from 2019 was a very large grid unit. The concern was the ability of a rogue entity to manipulate the transformer in such a way as to cause it to self destruct. If enough of these units were installed, they could all be damaged at once and thus bring down at least part of the electrical grid in a devastating way. The time necessary to restore the components would stretch into months.

In the past 6 years technology has advanced with tremendous speed. With out very careful evaluation of the equipment used, the risk of abuse, manipulation and or data loss is high.

Gosh: Musk in charge! What could possibly go wrong?

Thank you PI for covering what the MSM is not. Watch your backs.

Gee, I guess this is the ‘AI God’ Elon mentioned ….

Thank you so much for everything you do. I worked on the Twitter Research Project for his takeover. It didn’t take long to see what he was all about as I questioned him about Eliza ‘Bleu’

Funny how she has a huge farm property. I’ve been posting excerpts from my book I progress about him and removed the paywall hoping it would deter his compensation package

I question what he had access to concerning DOGE and he brags that ‘after all the lawsuits re the AI god…’

He shouldn’t worry about lawsuits but the handcuffs I will ensure will be hitting his wrists …

"And the people bowed & prayed

To the AI God they made...

And the sign flashed out its warning

In the words that it was forming

And the sign said

'The turds of the profits

Are smeared up Elon's

Coke-burnt nose

And 'tween his toes...' "

It continues to astonish that the colossal (yes, intended) scale of this potentially monumental (emphasis upon "mental," as in utterly lacking in acuity) issue has gone almost entirely unreported upon. Thank you for your scrupulous attention to this matter & so much more.

And just to add a smidgen of pop culture effluvial indulgence, hasn't ANYONE thus far pointed out that the giant supercomputer "Colossus" of the 1970 motion picture of the same name (featuring the deft Eric Braeden as C. Forbin, before he went to seed on US soap operas) was actually a self-aware Nemesis of humanity? Where are the references to the decisions behind Leon's choice in nomenclature for his multiple-football- field-sized desktop PC?

TSinky's avatar

FINALLY, a mention of “Colossus: The Forbin Project,” in which the American supercomputer Colossus joins forces with its Soviet counterpart, Guardian, to take over the world. Assuming Musk named the Tennessee facility, it’s hard to believe that’s a coincidence.

Schmendryck's avatar

Still waiting for answers! SOMEbody knows the story behind the name, & I want it!

Leon "Piggy" Musk is a Nazi, what does he care about our democracy? Question is, how does he get away with it? Money, greed, power.

He and Trump can fuck up anything they touch. Let's hope we find a way to keep them from cheating (again) in the '28 election.
